All students must bring a parent note to be turned into their first block teacher to obtain an early dismissal during the school day. Students can not be released via email or phone request. IF THERE IS AN EMERGENCY THE PARENT MUST PHYSICALLY COME TO SCHOOL AND SIGN OUT THE STUDENT.

Each parent note must state the reason(doctor, parent request, funeral, etc), shuttle time and phone number to contact parent/guardian for verification. If student has a doctor/dental appointment please obtain an excuse from physician and bring to school to be coded "D" on student's return to school.

NOTE: Student must attend at least 208 minutes to be considered present for the day; any student who checks into school later than 12:15pm is considered absent for the day.

TARDIES: The only excused tardy is a doctor's note, MCPSS travel issue or court hearing.
