MURPHY HIGH SCHOOL

 

UNIFORM POLICY 2013-2014

 

ALL STUDENTS ENROLLED AT MURPHY HIGH SCHOOL ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR THE APPROVED UNIFORM ON CAMPUS AT ALL TIMES!

 

               

        Shirts

                Light Blue “button down” oxford ONLY (short sleeve or long sleeve)

                NO MANUFACTURER’S OR DESIGNER LOGOS allowed

                MURPHY HIGH SCHOOL LOGOS ONLY!

                Shirts may not be tight, short, or FORM fitting

                SHIRTS MUST BE “TUCKED IN” AT ALL TIMES WITH BELT VISIBLE!

 

      Undershirts

                Sold White – short sleeve ONLY

       

        Pants    (No Skirts , Jumpers or Cargo Pants)

        Khaki, ankle length uniform pant with BELT LOOPS that fit naturally at the waist!

                       

         Belts

                Solid Brown or Solid Black ONLY! Absolutely no colors!

 

    Shoes

              Solid Brown or Solid Black or any tennis shoe

              NO backless shoes/sandals                 

              NO house shoes or slides      

               NO high heels                                

               NO boots

No rain boots (except on rainy days)

               

        Sweatshirts/Jackets/Coats

                Solid Navy blue fleece (zippered or pullover) or Navy blue jacket

             *Heavy coats (worn only on cold weather days) should be removed before entering the classroom

                NO college or team sweatshirts allowed

               NO Blue Jean Jackets of any kind

                MURPHY HIGH SCHOOL LOGOS ONLY!

 

 

        Hats

                Hats are not allowed on campus (including baseball caps, sports visors, head scarves; hair nets;

               night caps; head wraps; curlers; knitted head gear; and tams). NO BANDANAS OF ANY KIND ALLOWED.

               

 

Blue Oxford shirt with tie or Murphy High School logo tie may be worn,

“Dress up, not down!”

       

 

Fridays ONLY – All clubs, sports teams, organizations, cheerleaders and band members, will be allowed to wear own screen print t-shirts on Fridays. T-shirts must display the Murphy High School club name or the on-campus event the school sponsors. Class shirts for junior and seniors are also allowed on Fridays. Approved uniform pants, belt, and shoes, must be worn at all times (shirt “tucked in”)!
