Pictures will take place at Murphy in the Auditorium on February 11, 2026. There will be a sign up sheet closer to the picture date.
This year we have 10 students who made the 2026 MCPSS honor band. Our students have worked diligently over the last several weeks to prepare and present audition material, and competed against high school band students from all across MCPSS.
Additionally, Lane Martin placed 1st in the entire district for tenor saxophone (as a sophomore!). The students will be on a field trip January 12-13 to participate in this county-wide event.

Congratulations to Collin Bendolph, National Merit Semifinalist. As a full IB diploma candidate and full UA student, Collin boasts an impressive 4.99 GPA, ranking him in the top 1% of the senior class. He has already earned 30 college credits and plans to major in accounting, followed by law school.
