Justin Anderson, a student from Alma Bryant High School, was selected as the student leader for Red Ribbon Week! This year's theme was "Home Town Hero's." Justin chose our teachers and staff at Augusta Evans as his Home Town Hero! He gifted our school with a beautiful bench and tasty treats for the entire staff! MCPSS has been monitoring the weather all weekend and has been in discussion with Mobile County emergency officials regarding the forecast for Monday. Based on the most recent updates, we will have school on Monday, January 26, on our normal schedule. Students are expected to wear their uniforms, but to stay warm, they will have the option of layering either under or over their uniforms.
We will continue to monitor the weather and the roads. We look forward to seeing each of our students tomorrow.

We are decking the halls in cozy pajamas with Christmas goodies! Mrs. Kidd treated the staff with a yummy Panera breakfast and our students received a pizza party from Hungry Howies! We hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Day 3: Our staff was treated by Mrs. Kidd to a yummy lunch catered by Frank N Lola's! Our students and staff had a wonderful day dressed in ugly and cute Christmas attire!
