Our Murphy Panthers participated in the Alabama History Day competition on Thursday, April 9th before spring break. We are so pleased to announced that 2 student projects are advancing to the national competition in Washington, DC this summer and we have 1 project alternate!
Rae Beck & Emily Smith placed FIRST in group documentary
Mikey Greer placed SECOND in individual website
Douglas Chestang placed THIRD in individual documentary & is eligible to attend nations if 1st or 2nd place in his category do not compete.
The students have worked very hard on the NHD projects all year and we are so thrilled that we have made it to the national competition again!
