I was born and grew up in north Mobile and graduated from Satsuma High School in 1986. I received a bachelor's degree from Mobile College and a master's degree from the University of South Alabama. My student teaching was completed at Murphy High School. I taught ten years at Chastang Middle School before I came back home to Murphy.
