Top: Girls

Light blue oxford (no white oxfords) Navy blue golf/polo short-sleeved shirt

Bottom: Girls

Khaki, ankle-length uniform pants with BELT LOOPS that fit naturally at the waist! NO Capri length pants; NO drawstring pants; NO corduroy pants; NO denim; NO cargo pants; NO “Dickies” brand; NO undergarments should be visible / NO form-fitting or tight-fitting pants; NO SAGGING! NO SKIRTS!

Top: Boys

All students must wear a black or brown belt with looped pants.Belts must be visible at all times. No ornate belt buckles or colored/sparkled belts allowed.

Solid Brown or Solid Black or any tennis shoe NO backless shoes/sandals NO house shoes or slides NO high heels No rain boots (except on rainy days


Outerwear: Male/Female

Blue, black or grey jackets/coats and sweatshirts without hoods only. HOODED OUTERWEAR IS NOT PERMITTED ON MURPHY'S CAMPUS. Murphy outerwear is acceptable. MURPHY JACKETS MAY BE PURCHASED AT PRE-REGISTRATION.


Additional Notes

SHIRTS MUST BE TUCKED IN AT ALL TIMES WITH THE BELT VISIBLE. NO HATS WORN IN BUILDING All clubs, sports teams, organizations, cheerleaders, and band members, will be allowed to wear own screen print T-shirts on Fridays. T-shirts must display the Murphy High School club name or the on-campus event the school sponsors. Class shirts for junior and seniors are also allowed on Fridays. Approved uniform pants, belt, and shoes, must be worn at all times (shirt “tucked in”)! Solid white t-shirts or P.E. shirts only No turtleneck shirts No printed t-shirts No long-sleeved thermal undershirts
